Amethyst Ravenstar, is a bead artisan located in Southwest Ohio specializing in jewelry and bead-woven artwork. All items are created by intent from genuine gemstones and precious metals as well as complex and beautiful beadwork pouches, amulets and cording.
Her jewelry integrates gemstones and her passion for bead weaving with seed beads. She has dabbled with wire-work, and may dive back into it at a later date, but she is currently focused on exploring the creative range and combinations of seed bead techniques. She incorporates gemstones with her seed beading to expand the variations possible and add character and depth to her pieces.
Some bead-woven items in the Sold gallery may still be recreated through special order – all items made with gemstones will necessarily vary given the uniqueness of the stones, and all cabochons are unique and those items cannot be replicated exactly. Other items are designed as one-of-a-kind pieces that will never be recreated once sold. All jewelry items are crafted using genuine gemstone and precious metals, unless otherwise noted.
You may special order gemstone/metal combinations from current designs, or contact Amethyst Ravenstar for a completely custom design incorporating your choice of gemstones, metals, or color combinations. All items shown on the Made-To-Order galleries can be special ordered at no additional cost.
Ravenstar's beadwork is in high demand for special occasions and may be special ordered with your color combinations and "logo" design. There is no charge for converting your "logo" design for beadwork. You will want to order well in advance for special events, as completion time will naturally vary with the complexity of design and size of finished project. All beadwork crafted by Ravenstar incorporates quality glass beads and fine materials.
