N150: Black and White Harlequin Necklace:   $105

This fun necklace switches from black to white and back again in a near checker board fashion, interspersed with swarovski crystals for sparkle and small flashes of color.

It is 19.5 inches long, and contains 144 swarovksi crystals giving the front of the piece a lot of splash and sparkle. The sides are tapered slightly to accent the front, and consists of over 1000 seed beads using a russian spiral technique.

the ends are proctected with sterling silver cones and a the ball & socket clasp provides a secure closure.

The earring drops were inspired by a colleague comment about coordinating earrings with this necklace. They use the same technique and colors for the drop, and smaller crystals for the fringe.

The drops themselves are 2 3/4" long and there are six 4mm swarovski crystals each of the three colors - Amethyst AB, Black Diamond AB, and Silver Shade, in the main body of the earring and four 3mm of each in the fringe. The ear wires are sterling silver.

(AB is the Aurora Borealis finish, so named for the Northern Lights and describes crystal stones that have a highly iridescent surface. This adds an almost prism effect to the natural sparkle of the crystals.)
