S55: Pietersite in Gold:   $240

These wonderful exhibits of brown Pietersite are delicately wrapped in gold wire which enhances the gleam from the embedded peices of Tiger Eye in the Pietersite.

A word about the stone Pietersite:
Also known as Tempeststone in the Pagan community, was discovered by Sid Pieters in 1962 while he was prospecting some farmland in Namibia, Africa. After his discovery, he registered the find in the mineral records of Britain. His discovery was published in 1964, and the material was named pietersite.

Pietersite is a mix of blue and gold tiger's eye in quartz which has been folded and stressed in the Earth. It has the lovely iridescence of tiger's eye but not in structured bands, more in swirls and swathes.

Metaphysically, Dorothy Roeder in her book "Crystal Co-Creators" says that Pietersite was made as a specific anchor for a structure of angelic energy to stimulate humanity's use of the divine creative potential in Earth. Melody in her "Kaleidoscope of Crystals" another of the major books on crystals, tells us Pietersite has been said to contain "the keys to the kingdom of heaven", dispelling illusion and assisting one to recognise the beauty of the soul and helping to support human courage, tenacity and dauntless effort to create and maintain beauty.

The angels working through Pietersite work with a particular calm and joyous peacefulness which is very uplifting and helps dissolve confusion and fear about what lies ahead for the Earth. Pietersite helps relax and release limits you place on your creativity and allows you to recognise your divine potential
