N214: Fire and Ice

one of the most basic contradictions is hot & cold, the heat of the fire, the coolness of ice. And yet, it is a harmonious balance between these that we seek.

Both of these elements are contained within this 17 inch necklace, inpsired by the September Etsy Beadweavers Challenge: "Complimentary Contradictions". The pendant is a Fire Quartz in a netted bezel and surrounded by swarovski crystals and moonstone "ice" chips. the band is a double st petersburg chain, the colors of fire (inner - dark orange to pale gold seeds) and ice (outer - aqua blue to pale blue) on opposing sides, separated by a centerline of alternating Fire Opal and Ice colored swarovski crystals.
