A half sun, bright in all its glory, shines on the orange and golden falling leaves; mirrored is the half moon in night sky of stars. Each balancing the other on the Fall Equinox, when the day equals the night and the nights grow longer thereafter.

The sun, poised in a background of lustrous blue, deepening to a darker blue of the night. The moon, glowing in her mystery, rises on a dark midnight blue interspersed with stars.
